CarboPouch™

CarboPouchThe CarboPouch™ development allows craft draft beer brewers to fill on-site, a clean, Redi-2-Go Multi64™ or Single25™ pouch with spout and anti-oxygen cap. Storage and shelf-life requires refrigeration. Low-carbonated water and shelf-stable carbonated beverages can also be filled. However; at room temperature the gas content will be lost over 24 hours. This pouch is not designed for high carbonated products, even soda water. The organoleptic film structure ensures no off flavor. The patented film structure is designed to handle the pouch "stretch" after filling and carbonation expansion. The three-side seal pouch has a smooth side comfort grip feature. The StandUp pouch uses a heavier film lamination. The combination of these factors makes the CarboPouch™ a true economical innovation for distribution of craft draft beers to the consumer's home. Our Beverage-On-The-Go package is for manual filling of water and other types of beverages. Your outdoor activities now have a package! The fill capacity of the Single25™ is 9 oz. and the StandUp Multi64™ is 64 oz. Note the pouch itself has more headspace to cater for manual filling and for different products. Precautions:

There are only 2 scenarios which will cause the interior pressure PSI to exceed the working limitations of the CarboPouch™. First is a lack of refrigeration. For best results, the pouches and the contents must be kept cool at all times. We suggest the use of a gelpack ice pack attached with a rubber band to the CarboPouch™ during transport. This keeps C02 in solution and the pressure much more tolerable. The second is unusual agitation or pressure on the packaging. If you compress the pouch enough, it will break the fractable seals at the tips of the canoe fitment. This is a design feature to stop the pouches from a catastrophic failure. We have had customers leave pouches in hot car trunks and have them packed into backpacks with no refrigeration on long trecks. These are mistakes. If you keep the beer cold and the pouches from being squashed, we typically have no problems. Working pressures in 2 atmospheres works fine for our customers. It is important to realize that glass jugs also have breakability etc. and that the pouch exceeds some of the features of glass.
