The NMD500-4525 is the largest model in the NMD500 range. A 450 × 250 mm head gives a 400 × 220 mm product passage, and it is the only NMD500 on a 1,300 mm conveyor, 100 mm longer than the other five models, for bulky products, large bags and tall boxed goods. It's the right choice when packs are taller than the 170 mm passage of the NMD500-4520. For anything that fits a smaller opening, a smaller head is usually the better buy, because detection sensitivity drops as the tunnel gets larger.
