SGE Robotica's robotic case packer uses 4-, 5- or 6-axis industrial robots with 2D/3D vision to pick bottles, jars, cans, pouches, flow-wraps and trays from the infeed and place them into RSC, HSC, tray-and-shrink or display cases. Output runs from 20 to more than 120 cases a minute, depending on the configuration.
Quick-change vacuum and mechanical grippers, and recipes stored on the HMI, switch formats in under five minutes. Because the pack pattern comes from the recipe rather than mechanical change parts, one cell can pack several SKUs and case styles. Construction is food-grade stainless steel with IP65 components for washdown areas.
