The SN FBM 40 is built for the smallest pouches in SN's Professional Series. It forms four flat or stand-up pouches per cycle, each 40–72 mm wide and 70–160 mm long, and runs at up to 400 pouches a minute on an eight-station rotary table. That makes it the high-output choice for small portion packs, samples and single doses made in long runs. Its compressed-air demand, about 500 Nl/min, is also lower than the roughly 650 Nl/min of the FBM 30, 33 and 44. For pouches up to 93 mm wide, the triplex FBM 30 runs three at a time at up to 300 a minute.
