The SN FM 500 is the fastest machine in SN's Professional Series, running in pentaplex to form, fill and seal five pouches per cycle at up to 450 pouches a minute. Pouches can be 70–110 mm wide and 90–210 mm long, a compact format suited to small portion and single-serve packs made in very long runs. It shares the footprint of the quadruplex FM 400, about 4,900 × 2,400 mm, and adds 90 pouches a minute in exchange for a smaller maximum pouch size.
