The RKH-09S covers the middle of RADPAK's intermittent horizontal cartoner range, with cartons 50–160 mm wide, 130–250 mm long and 25–80 mm high. It runs in start-stop mode at up to 60 cartons a minute, loading product from the side into cartons formed in the horizontal position. It shares its carton window with the continuous-motion RKH-09C, so the choice comes down to speed: the 09S covers lines up to 60 cartons a minute, and the 09C runs at up to 160. Smaller cartons go on the RKH-06S, and longer ones, up to 320 mm, on the RKH-12S. The blank magazine is filled by hand and holds about 10 m
